Mc Cain’s Thought Process

by Azreel | September 2nd, 2008

I imagine McCain’s selection process went something like this: He wanted Rice first and foremost.  Of course, she said no and refused to even be vetted.  So that was out.  Powell was probably his second choice.  After that there was Romney, but I’m sure strategists quickly threw him out.  McCain needed someone polarizing, someone who held the same “maverick” stance, but who could bringsome semblence of “conserative” to the race while still drawing in the fence sitters.  And only one person stuck out.  Sarah Palin.
